By evaluating models of a patient's teeth in conjunction with digital photographs, digital computer imaging can provide a smile preview which can be viewed and approved by the patient prior to proceeding. Variations in shade, tooth shape, etc can be reviewed. When the patients has approved the desired modifications, "before" and "after" images are e-mailed to our porcelain veneer ceramic artists with models of the teeth. The models are then carefully modified - a white wax esthetic prototype is created duplicating the desired approved image. Treatment can be completed in only two visits.

At the first visit, teeth are conservatively modified, impressions taken, and temporary veneers fabricated. This is a key step in insuring results match expectations. The temporary veneers are made by matching the modified model exactly. The new desired tooth shade is used as well. Temporaries serve as a "trial run" and can be approved by the patient or modified, if desired, to insure the desired result. Usually a phone conversation or a short visit is provided to insure all is acceptable. When this is achieved, photos of the temporaries can be made and the appearance can be duplicated in the porcelain veneers. The results will be achieved with certainty - a beautiful smile matching or exceeding the expectations of the patient!
